Zabeel Park is one of Dubai's key public parks, located in the Zabeel district.
The park was officially opened on December 28, 2005, by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The park covers an area of 47.5 hectares (or 475,000 square meters).
Entrance fees are AED 5 per person. The park is renowned for its size and popularity among locals and tourists as a great venue for sports and music events. It features a 2.5-kilometer jogging path around the park's perimeter, as well as walking trails, a BMX track, a skate park, barbecue and picnic areas, a boating lake with waterfront restaurants, an ice skating rink, a mini-cricket and golf course, and children's play areas. The park also features an exhibition gallery, prayer rooms, and a fitness center.
The park's theme is focused on technology: three themed zones—Alternative Energy Zone, Communications Zone, and Techno Zone—offer educational and interactive exhibits. A 3D cinema is also located here for educational events.
The park boasts over 3,000 palm trees and approximately 7,000 trees of various species. Wi-Fi is available for visitors' convenience.
In 2018, the 150-meter-tall Dubai Frame opened in the park. From its top, visitors can admire two contrasting views of the city: the modern metropolis and Dubai's historic districts.
