The Allianz Arena (German for Allianz Arena, and known as Arena MΓΌnchen for international national team matches) is a football stadium located in the north of Munich. This sports facility has a capacity of 75,000, including 2,152 business class seats, 1,374 VIP seats, and 227 seats for spectators with disabilities. However, during international matches, the stadium's capacity is reduced to 70,000 spectators.
Since the 2005/06 season, Bayern Munich has played its home matches at this stadium. The Allianz Arena also hosted matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, as well as Champions League finals in the 2011/12 and 2024/25 seasons. In 2020, it also hosted European Championship matches.
Initially, the arena was jointly owned by Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich. However, Bayern later purchased TSV 1860 Munich's share, becoming the sole owner of this impressive sports facility.
