SoFi Stadium is a modern sports and entertainment complex located in Inglewood, California, USA. It occupies the former site of the Hollywood Park racetrack and is located just a few kilometers from Los Angeles International Airport. The arena has a capacity of 70,240 spectators.
Opened in September 2020, SoFi Stadium is now home to two National Football League (NFL) teamsβthe Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers.
It is the fourth facility in Los Angeles to simultaneously host multiple teams within the same league. Since 1999, the Staples Center has hosted the NBA's Lakers and Clippers. Dignity Health Sports Park once hosted games for both the Los Angeles Galaxy and a now-defunct Major League Soccer franchise from 2005 to 2014. Dodger Stadium, in turn, was the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels baseball teams from 1962 to 1965.
A significant milestone for SoFi Stadium was hosting Super Bowl LVI on February 13, 2022. The stadium also hosted an unforgettable halftime show.
