The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, located in the north London borough of Tottenham, is the home ground of the club of the same name. It has a capacity of over 62,000 spectators and is the second-largest football stadium in London, behind only Wembley.
Some fans and media sometimes refer to this stadium as "New White Hart Lane," a tribute to its predecessor.
Part of the land on which the new stadium is built previously belonged to the old Tottenham Hotspur stadium, known as White Hart Lane.
The design of the new stadium was announced in 2008, but construction began only in 2015 due to delays in approvals. The grand opening took place in the spring of 2019.
