France national football team

The France national football team represents France on the international stage, participating in various football competitions and tournaments. The team is governed by the French Football Federation, which has been part of FIFA since 1904 and a member of UEFA since 1954. France was a founding member of both organizations. The national team has twice won the European Championship (in 1984 and 2000) and the FIFA World Cup (in 1998 and 2018).

Hugo Lloris holds the record for most appearances for the national team, with 145, while Olivier Giroud leads the team in goalscoring with 57. The national team is managed by Didier Deschamps, who was appointed head coach on July 8, 2012.
