Hibla Gerzmava

Hibla Levarsovna Gerzmava is an outstanding Russian soprano opera singer. Since 1995, she has been performing as a soloist at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Musical Theater. In 2012, she was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia, and six years earlier, in 2006, she became People's Artist of Abkhazia. In 2021, Gerzmava was awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation.

Internationally, Hibla Gerzmava has gained recognition for her performances on the stages of such renowned theaters as the Mariinsky Theater, the Royal Opera in London (Covent Garden), the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna State Opera, the Rome Opera and the Paris Grand Opera, as well as many other world-renowned venues.
