Norway national football team

The Norway national football team represents the country on the international men's national team stage and is governed by the Norwegian Football Association, the country's governing body for football. Their home stadium is Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo, and they are coached by Ståle Solbakken. The Norwegian national team has participated in four World Cups: in 1938, 1994, 1998, and 2026, and also competed at the UEFA European Championship in 2000.

Interestingly, Norway is one of only three national teams to have defeated Brazil, and remains the only team to have never lost to the Brazilians. In four matches against Brazil, Norway won two and drew two, including a group stage encounter at the 1998 World Cup.

After participating in Euro 2000, the Norwegian team failed to qualify for a major tournament for the next twelve years. However, they managed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
